In the 1885 census for Polk Co. there is no mention of George, Eleanor or James. In Grant Twp, there is Aleta, Anna, Hattie, and Levi. In Saylor Twp., there is Anna, Calvin, Laura, Roy - in one household, and in another is Edward, and Ella.

In the 1880 census for Iowa, Polk Co., Saylor Twp.
George, Eleanor and son James, age 36 are listed

In the 1870 Iowa census index, there is a James listed in Jasper Co., Pg. 234, Des Moines Twp. No mention of George or Eleanor.

In the 1860 Iowa census index, there is no listing for George, Eleanor, or James.
