2nd Mystery of George C. Baker

I need help-trying to find where & how George C. Baker died on March 23, 1894 at age 49. His body was brought to Des Moines by train & met by an escort of old soldiers ,detailed by commander Hutchins, of Crocker Post. He was buried at Woodland Cemetery. Can anyone please help me?
