Wanda Kinney, 86, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, September 23, 2011, at Rippey United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Rippey Cemetery.

Wanda was born on March 22, 1925, to Jim and Mary King. For 36 years she was employed by Dallas County in the field of social services.

She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Wolfe, Donita (Gary) Green, Karen Kinney and Debra Emmert; 15 grandchildren, and 21 great -grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her son, Ivan Kinney; brothers, Carl King and Howard King and sister, Vada Gilroy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to Hospice of Central Iowa. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register 18 Sept 2011.
