Mrs. Elmer Wetrosky

Mrs. Elmer Wetrosky, 82, of Alcester, died Tuesday (Feb. 23, 1982, in a nursing home at Alcester.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Emmanuel Lutheran church in Beresford. Revs Jalmer Eldal and Richard Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran cemetery. There will be a scripture prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Wass funeral home in Alcester.

Mrs. Wetrosky the former Ruth Eberhard was born March 20, 1899, in Plymouth county. She married Elmer Wetrosky Feb. 18, 1919. They made their home in Iowa until 1939 when they moved to the Alcester community in November of 1974 they moved into Morningside manor at Alcester.

Survivors are her husband, four sons, Clinton of Beresford, Dwight of Alcester, Donald of Arvada, Colo, and Lowell of Brandon; three daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Verda) Akland and Mrs. Clifton (Irene) Waddell, both of Alcester and mrs. Jack (Norma) Stene of Beresford, her stepmother, Meta Eberhard of San Bernardino, Calif, four brothers, Harold of Mitchell, Willard of Buellton, Calif, Eldon of Riverside, Calif and Robert of Kingsley, two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Meek of Rialto, Calif and Clara Raby of Merrill, Iowa, 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

Though it doesn't mention it, she was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Wilhelmina (Kalas) Eberhard and a sister Lucele and three brothers, Walter, David and Ruldolph.
