Services Held for Frank Wille

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church at Hartley, Iowa, for Frank Henry Wille on Wednesday, June 25, with Rev. Lester Hancock officiating. Interment was at the Pleasant View Cemetery under the direction of the Baumgarten Funeral Home.

Frank Henry Wille, son of Joseph and Mary Wille, was born September 21, 1896 at Williams in Hamilton County, Iowa. He attended school and lived there until he began working on the Illinois Central Railroad. In 1926, he came to Paullina Iowa, to work in the plumbing and heating trade.

He was united in marriage to Mabel Brandt of Hartley on June 8, 1929. They moved to Hartley in 1930, where he owned and operated a plumbing and heating business.

He moved to San Francisco, California, in 1941, where he was employed in refrigeration work until 1945 when he returned to Hartley to again operate his business until his retirement in 1968.

He received life membership in the Chamber of Commerce upon his retirement.

He passed away June 22, 1975, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Hartley at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 1 day.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Hartley, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, and a Past Master, a Past Patron of O.E.S., a member of the Sioux City Consistory and the Abu Bekr Shrine. He was a member of the Modern Woodman Lodge.

He served as a volunteer fireman at Williams, Paullina, and for 26 years in Hartley.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Frieda.

Survivors include his wife, Mable, one son, Joseph and his wife Elaine of La Mirada, California, and two grandchildren, Frankie and Debbie, one sister, Mrs. Mary Dick of Fort Dodge, and one brother, Byron Wille of Williams, Iowa, and other relatives and friends.
