Mrs. William Beerman

Last Saturday the remains of Mrs. William Beerman were laid to rest in the cemetery of our Lutheran congregation. From far and near friends and relatives had come to attend the funeral service which was held at the church in Germantown and to escort the remains of the much beloved one to the last resting place. That the deceased was held in high esteem in the whole community was shown by the many beautiful floral gifts and the deep sympathy extended to the bereaved ones, a gloom of sadness over the untimely death, as it seems of a dear wife, mother, daughter, relative and friend being like a dark cloud over the entire congregation.

Mrs. Beerman was but in her prime of life. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stoeckmann. On the 31st of last month she celebrated her 20th birthday. In her early childhood she attended our school here where she not only for everything that is essential for this world but all she learned to know her Savior Jesus Christ in whom she had imperturbable faith to the very last.

On Nov 1st, 1912 she was united in matrimony to Mr. William Beerman. Two children were born to them who are now mourning over the loss of their dear mother.

Besides these there are the bereaved husband, her mother, (her father died about eleven years ago), three brothers, Fred, Ernest and Edward; five sisters, Mrs. Emil Meyer, Mrs. Fred Fiddelke, Mrs. Court Meyer, Mrs. Ernest Strampe and Mrs. Fred Schuknecht, and many other relatives who mourn over the passing away of one so dear to them.
