Paul Kuester, Long Time Paullina Resident Dies at 73

Paul Kuester, who farmed and lived most of his life in the Paullina community, died Tuesday night about 11:15 at Cooper's Nursing Home, Sutherland. The deceased suffered a stroke in August of last year and had been in failing health since that time. He was hospitalized for a month, following the attack, and moved from there to the nursing home.

Funeral services will be held here Friday with a service at Gaudian Funeral Home at 1:30 and at Zion Lutheran church at 2:00. Burial will be in Prairie View cemetery.

He is survived by a son and daughter, Ben Kuester of Granville and Mrs. Ed Schmith of Germantown; a brother, Albert, of Granville and two grandchildren.
