Rex 5 Coal Mine

My dad was born at the Rex-5 mine in 1917.
They also lived in Hiteman.

His name is Philip Lane son of George and Selma Anderson Lane.

His maternal grandparents were Par and Sophia Anderson.

My dad is celebrating his 90th birthday in February on next year and we are having a good whing ding celebration for him.

We found the photo of the Rex-5 mine and wondered if there is anyone out there who has some stories to tell about the mine. Also about Hiteman.
