MRS. W. D. "WID" SMITH

Funeral service, for Mrs. William D. "Wid" Smith, 67, a 50-year resident of Hornick who died Friday night at an Onawa, Iowa, hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hornick United Methodist Church. The Rev. Leonard Fugate will officiate.

Burial will be in the Holly Springs Cemetery under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home, Whiting, Iowa.

Mrs. Smith, the former Pearl Mildred Stewart, was born June 9, 1891, in Moody County, S.D She was married to Mr. Smith June 22, 1911, at Flandreau, S.D, She was a member of the Flandreau Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Darrel, New Richland, Minn., and Ardell, Drayton, N.D.; a daughter, Miss Melba Smith, Hornick; a brother, Leonard Stewart, Brookings, S D.; two sisters, Mrs. Teresa Soden, also of Brookings, and Mrs. Cecila Packingham, Palo, Iowa; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
