12 May 2021Ronald Clifford Davis, 86, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Burgess Health Center, Onawa, Iowa.
A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Rush Family Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Michael Lewis officiating. (Please bring and wear masks). Burial will follow in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa with Military Honors provided by the United States Army and the David McNeill American Legion Post #129 of Onawa, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.
Ronald was born December 11, 1934 in Mapleton, Iowa the son of Clifford Gordon and Nea Mae (Smith) Davis. He grew up in Mapleton, Iowa. His former wives were Darlene, Carolyn, and Victoria.
Ronald served in the United States Army from February 9, 1954 and was honorably discharged January 25, 1956.
He enjoyed country music and listening to Johnny Cash.
Survivors include his sister, Winefred Doty; his children, Carol Stevens, Barbara Nelson, Karen King, David Davis, and Pamela Logan; grandchildren, Ricky, Adam, Phillip, Joshua, Monica, Samantha, Nicholas, Lonnie, Juston, Jamie, Craig, Adam, Teresa, Nea, Autumn, and Diamond; and great-grandchildren, Eli, Olivia, Evelynn, Nathaniel, Cheyanne, Joshua Jr., Hanna, Allissa, Logan, Katlyn, Miguel, Lilly-Anna, Shiloe, Alexie, Autumn, Eziyah, Bradon, Alexander, Isaiah, Andrea, Isaac, Elijha, Cole, Tyler, Andrew, Connie, Barry, Antonea, ZaRiah, Darnell, Keena, and Saphire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Nea (Smith) Davis; brothers, Richard and Robert Davis; daughter, Connie Sue Mortenson; and great-grandson, Dakota Lewis.
