Viola H. Wilson

Viola H. Wilson, a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away at the age of 77 years and 8 months and 20 days I April 24, 1975 at Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was born on August 4, 1897, at Port Deposit, Maryland, the daughter of Albert and Hannah H. McClintock Linton. She was united in marriage to Gilbert Reese in 1915 at Onawa, Iowa. He passed away in February 1934. She was united in marriage to Frank Wilson in 1937 at Logan, Iowa.

For the last 15 years she resided in Lincoln, Nebraska, before that she was a resident of Onawa,Iowa. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include her son-in-law Emmertt and daughter, Marjorie Bowman of Lincoln Nebraska; her sister, Mrs. Phoebe Struble of Tucson Arizona; her niece, Mrs. Winnifred Gibson a Blencoe,Iowa; her nephews, Albert Nixon at Battle Creek, Iowa; and Robert and Frank Struble of Tucson Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.

Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 1973 at the Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa, Iowa with Rev. John Schlosser officiating. Clara Kelley was the organist. Mrs. Fred Gibson sang “In The Garden” and the “23rd Psalm”.

Bearers were Albert Nixon, Jerry Nixon, Jack Morgan, Freddie Gibson, Johnny Gibson, and Gene Conyers. Interment was in the Belvedere Cemetery at Turin, Iowa with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, at Onawa. Iowa.
