WILL: Patrick Vaughn
Admitted to Probate Jan. 10, 1889. Will Record No. 2, Page 117, Mitchell County, Iowa.
Patrick Vaughn died Dec. 12, 1888.

"Know All Men by these Presents, That I, Patrick Vaughn being of sound and disposing state of mind and memory and being desirous of settling my wordly affairs while I have strength and capacity do make and publish this my last will and testament.
"First, I do hereby will and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Bridget Vaughan all my personal property and all my real estate consisting of the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section No. Twenty-three (23) in Township No. (100) One Hundred North, Range No. (15) Fifteen, also fifteen acres of timber land in the SE Quarter of Sect. twenty-seven, One hundred, fifteen except what is otherwise disposed of. The said Bridget Vaughan to take care of and support the children Alice Vaughn, Alice Aggie and Betsy Vaughn as she may deem right and just so long as she may live."

" Second, I do hereby will and bequeath unto my sons and Daughter, James Vaughn,
John Vaughn,William Vaughn, and ThomasVaughn and Anna Vaughn the sum of one dollar each."

" Third, I do hereby appoint Bridget Baughn and John Vaughn, my executors to this my last will and testament."
"In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this instrument my last will and testament.
Dated this 10th day of December, A.D. 1888."
