Bridget Vaughan died in Wayne Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, Feb. 8, 1909.

" In the name of God, Amen, I, Bridget Vaughan, a resident of Bailey, Mitchell County, Iowa, of sound and disposing mind and memory do on this 29th day of October, 1906, make, publish and declared this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made."

"First, I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my executor hereafter name and appointed."

"Second That a monument be erected for me and my husband not to exceed two hundred dollars."

"Third, I direct that Fifty dollars shall be paid for masses to be read for me and for my husband."

"Fourth, I mention the names of my children who are heirs and the heirs of those deceased to-wit:, Annie E. Vaughan, Norbert V. Jordan, Charles L. Jordan, John H. Vaughan, W. C. Vaughan, Mrs. J. B. Weinberger, T. B. Vaughan, Anges M. McCarthy, Bessie Vaughan, and assure them that this my last will and testament is made with them all in mind and memory and in perfect accord with my wishes."

"Fifth, I give to my beloved daughter, Bessie Vaughan, Five Hundred dollars to be hers absolutely and forever."

"Sixth, I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved daughter, Annie E. Vaughan, all the rest residue and remainder of my property to be hers upon the following condition and limitation only, that she shall remain a single person and not marry. But if she shall marry, then it is my will that her interest in said property shall utterly cease and determine that she shall only be entitled to her share as hereafter devised. Then in that case, if she the said Annie E. Vaughn shall marry, then I direct that all of my estate above referred to shall be divided among my heirs as the law directs and the Statue provides except as to Norbert V. Jordan and Charles L. Jordan, who are not to receive any share of my said property."
"Lastly I constitute and appoint my son, Thos. B. Vaughn to be the Executor of this my last will and testament."
"Dated this 29th day of October, 1906" Bridget Vaughan.
