KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS;

That I, William Bublitz of Worth County, Iowa, being of lawful age,sound mind and memory do make, declare and publish this instrument as my last will and testament.

1st. I order and direct that all my just debts shall be paid with convenient speed.

2nd. I give and bequeath to my grand-daughter, Emma Schmidt, Eight Hundred Dollars, to be paid out of the proceeds of my estate after she shall have attained the age of twenty-one years and not until after the death of my wife Hulda.

3rd. I give and bequeath to my grand-son, Albert Schmidt, Four Hundred Dollars, to be paid him out of the proceeds of my estate after he has attained the age of twenty-one years and not until after the death of my wife Hulda.

4th. I give and bequeath to my grand-daughter, Metha Bublitz, Four Hundred Dollars, to be paid to her out of the proceeds of my esate after she has attained the age of twenty-one years and not until the death of my wife Hulda.

5th. I give and bequeath to my grand-son Louis Bublitz, Four Hundred Dollars, out of the proceeds of my estate after he has attained the age of twenty-one years and after the death of my wife Hulda.

6th. I give and bequeath to my son Herman W. Bublitz, One Thousand Dollars, to be paid out to him out of the proceeds of my estate after the death of my wife Hulda.

7th. To my wife, Hulda Bublitz, I give, devise and bequeath the income and rental of all my property, both personal and real, during her lifetime. After her death, the personal property remaining shall be sold and the proceeds thereof equally divided among my then living children.

8th. I give,devise and bequeath to my son William Bublitz, the land now owned by me in Sections One (1) and 36, in Township Ninety-eight, Range Nineteen (19), Worth County, Iowa,
after the death of my wife Hulda, upon condition that he pay to my estate the sum of Eighteen Hundred Dollars.

9th. I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Emil Bublitz, the land now owned by me in Rock township Ninety-eight, Range Eighteen (18) Mitchel County, Iowa, after the death of my wife Hulda and upon condition that the pay to my estate Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1200.).

10th. If either of my grandchildren shall, before the bequests aforesaid have been paid to them have died, his or her share shall revert and become part of my estate.

11th. If either of my sons, William or Emil, shall, before they have become possessed of the property herein devised and bequeathed to them have died, leaving lawful issue, such issue to receive the parents share but if they leave no issue, then such share shall revert to and become part of my estate.

12th. I hereby, nominate and appoint, for executor of this my last will and testament- Robert C. Lubiens-without bond, as I have confidence in his integrity.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th day of April A.D., 1898.

Signed, sealed and published and acknowledged by the aforesaid William Bublitz, to be his last will and testament, in our presence and we each at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, subscribe our names as witnesses.
