‘IN THE NAME OF GOD”, Amen:

I, Lucinda Beebe of the City of Osage, in the County of Mitchell and State of Iowa, being Sixty-three years of age, on the 24th day of Jany., A.D. 1883, and of sound mind, do make and execute this- “My Last Will andTestament:

I give and bequeath to my Daughters, Sophia A. Van Wie and Sarah L. Kennedy,- both of the Township of Osage in the said County of Mitchell- they being all the children I have, living, all my property- as following– both real and personal.
To my said Daughter Sophia, a certain note for Seven Hundred Dollars which I hold against her husband, John Van Wie; and another certain note for Eight Hundred Dollars which I hold against James Hoyt of Lincoln Tp. in said County of Mitchell–.

To my said Daughter Sarah, The house and lots where I now live, to-wit: Lots Ten, Eleven and Twelve, in Block one Hundred and Sixty-five, in the City of Osage, together with all the appurtenances thereto belonging;
and another certain note against the said James Hoyt for Six Hundred Dollars–both of which notes are held by me as against the said Hoyt, and secured by Mortgage- “The above to said Daughters and their kins.”
I further appoint as administrator to carry into effect this my Last Will and Testament, my son-in-law, Guy Kennedy– Witness my hand at Osage, on this 12th day of January, A.D. 1883
