Dale Woodle, son of Walter and Viola Betterton Woodle, was born February 6, 1896 in Marion county and died January 30, 1954, at the Downing Veterans hospital, Waukegan, Ill.
Mr. Woodle grew up in Marion county, went to school at Ames and spent the remainder of his life in his chosen field of work that of an electrical engineer in Waukegan, Ill.
Mr. Woodle was a member of the Masonic lodge having joined the lodge in Melcher many years ago. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his widow, Dorothy, whom he married in June, 1939.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Bybee & Davis funeral home conducted by Rev. Stanley Hunt. The burial was made in the Graceland cemetery.
