John F. Shields, Jackson Twp. - Antioch Cem.

I am trying to find out more information on John F. Shields, born 1814 Ohio and died 1887, buried at the Antioch Cemetery in Jackson township. Even thought he died 1887, I don't see him in the 1885 census? Nor do I find his wife which is supposed to be Eliza J. Dawson, born around 1816 in PA. I know they had at least two children, one being Catherine "Kate" M. born 1850 and another Clara Jane born 1857. I don't know about others. Can anyone help?
