A Google search of: Galen Otice Rigby-Genealogy.com has information concerning the Rigby family of Jones County, Iowa.

Also, I'm not sure if this is the same Rigby family, but Washington A. Rigby, came from Knox County, Ohio Cedar County, Iowa. He is listed as the first permanent white settler in Red Oak Township.
