Scotts to CA & back

SCOTT, ROWLEY, DELAY, LECLERE, AUMAN, AND BARTON

I would like to locate the account of the travels of L.F. Scott of Castle Grove twp who went overland to CA in 1853, returned to Jones Co in 1855, returned to CA in 1864, and came back to Jones Co 1875. The county history said that he wrote a very interesting account of his trips to CA. I am also interested in information on any of his siblings. My Rowley relatives married Charles and Oscar who were two of his brothers. There may have been at least 8 brothers.
