James SPENCER and wife Elizabeth McMAHAN Spencer resided Jones Co, IA. Children Bently, Edmund, Matilda b. 1822 m. Joseph CLARK, Peninah Ann m. 1848 Joseph GUILFORD, Jemima Jane m. 1st Joseph MORGAN and 2nd JJ LAMB, Caroline m. 1843 Joshua CLARK, Elizabeth b. 1818 m. Reuben BUNCE, Harriet m. 1856 Romantes BATCHELDER. I am hoping to fill in dates and descendants. I am from John McMAHAN, brother of Elizabeth McMahan Spencer. Several of these are buried in Langworthy cemetery, Jones Co. Also interested in sharing cost of replacing some of the broken markers in the cemetery.
