Jim,
William was the son of William and Sarah Ager, dont know anything on his mother but his father was born in England in 1829,and died Jan 3 1858 and is buried in Rockdale methodist church cem. in Dubuque Iowa.
He also had a brother Adam Ager born 1853 in Dubuque Iowa and I found Adam living with his grandparents William and Lucy Ager in Dub. Co. Iowa in 1860.Thats the only time I have found Adam.
William was with Lydia Ager in 1880 I know, she was the widow of Joseph Ager (Williams uncle)

The Joseph B. Tuel family were kin also, Joseph B. Tuel's wife was Edith Maginnis, who was the grand dau. of Maria Ager Cook( Maria was William's father's sister.) Thanks for your help.
