Jewell Reynolds, 81, of Coralville passed away at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics on December 31, 2023.

Honoring her wishes, a private burial was held at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.

Jewell was born on April 30, 1942 in Northeast, Pennsylvania to Oscar and Naomi (Perkey) Reynolds. She worked as a CNA for many years at Mercy Hospital before retiring. Jewel married George Black in 1959 before the couple later divorced.

She is survived by her two daughters Diane and Jennifer Pessagno, and her sister Julia Aun.

Jewell was preceded in death by her parents and son James Pessagno.
