Funeral Services Will Be
Monday For Lifelong
Resident Of City

William M. Tomlin, 50, lifelong resident of Iowa City, died at 2:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of his mother, Mrs. Annie Tomlin, 817 Bloomington street, after a lingering illness.
He was born on September 12, 1890. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
Mr. Tomlin is survived by his mother; six children, Lloyd Tomlin of Camp Benning, Ga., and Mrs. John Cornwall, Mrs. George Norton, and John, Perry and Betty Tomlin, all of Iowa City; two step sons, William and Carl Hauser, both of Iowa City; three aunts and one uncle. His wife preceded him in death 15 months ago, his father, nine years ago, his brother, four months ago and an infant son several years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Wenceslaus church with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery. The remains will be taken from the Hohenschuh mortuary to the home of his mother at 11 o'clock Sunday morning.
