Marvin F. Perkins, 90 formerly of 729 Page Street, Iowa City died Monday, April 26, 2004 at Greenwood Manor after a brief illness.

Graveside services will 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Coralville American Legion will conduct military rites. There is no visitation. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice.

Marvin was born September 1, 1913 in Parish, Texas the son of Thomas and Buella(Smith) Perkins. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Louise Sargood on May 11, 1966. Marvin worked as a janitor at the Veterans Hospital. He was a member of the Coralville American legion and the VFW.

He is survived by his wife Louise Perkins of Iowa City, Iowa and two nieces Jacquelyn Regan of Waukon, Iowa and Jill Phillips and her husband Charles of Coralville, Iowa.
He is also survived by one cousin, Mary Ellen Brumley of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
