Henrietta Trimble, 90 formerly of 524 2nd Avenue, Iowa City died peacefully Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio..

Funeral Services to celebrate Henrietta’s life will be at 10:30 am Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service with the Rev. Judy Gingerich officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A reception at the funeral home will follow the committal service. Memorials may be directed to Mt. Carmel Hospice, c/o Lensing’s 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City 52244.

Henrietta was born November 11, 1913 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of George F. and Lillian Chensky Miller. She married Leo E. Trimble in Iowa City on November 17, 1931.

Henrietta had been employed by Economy Advertising and the Iowa City Press Citizen following her husband’s death in 1971. In May, 2003 she moved to Pickerington, Ohio to live with and be cared by her daughter.

Henrietta took great pride in her home, where she enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved her family and felt blessed to be able to stay in her home until last year.

Henrietta is survived by her daughter, Janet (Allen) Wolfe of Pickerington, Ohio; her sons; Ronald (Joyce) Trimble of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Michael (Ruth) Trimble of North Liberty, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and six brothers and one sister.
