Michael “Mick” Barger, 53, of North Liberty died Wednesday, April 14, 2004 surrounded by his family at UIHC of cancer.

Funeral Services to celebrate Mick’s life will be Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 2PM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 7PM Friday at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City. A memorial fund has been established.

Mick was born September 1, 1950 in Alliance, Nebraska, the son of Malcolm and Helen Ewart Barger. He married Sandi Miller on September 11, 1971 in Iowa City.

Since 1966, Mick was a projection technician at Iowa City movie theaters.

During his short time with us he touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

Mick is survived by his wife, Sandi; his daughter, Jenni (Chad) Osborn of Marengo and their son Cody; his siblings, Jane (Chuck) Cox of Nebraska and Bill Barger of South Dakota; and extended family.

He was preceded by in death by his parents, three siblings, Bob, Lynn “Sam” and Susan
