Patrick Kane, 62, of 420 Ronalds Street in Iowa City, died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City. Friends may call Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be in the Clarence Cemetery in Clarence, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.

Patrick was born May 8, 1941 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Thomas J. & Pauline S. (Koch) Kane. He graduated from Olin Consolidated Schools. Patrick was a surveyor with the State of Iowa Highway Department and was disabled in a car accident in 1961.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas Kane of Iowa City, two sisters Mary Hilliard of Kansas City, Kansas and Teresa Kane of Iowa City; nieces and nephews, Julie Reimer & her husband Chris of St. Louis, Missouri, John Hilliard & his wife Sara and their daughter Amanda of Toronto Canada and Jeffrey Hilliard of Los Angeles, California.

Patrick’s parents preceded him in death.
