Glenn Allen Schultz, 76 of Coralville died on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at home with his family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

A Memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Lensing’s Oak Hill 210 Holiday Road, Coralville. A reception will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice.

Glenn was born January 16, 1928 in Burlington, Iowa the son of Christian and Vera (Kline) Schultz. He served in the United States Army from 1946 to 1947. On April 30, 1960 in St. Paul, Minnesota, he married Marjorie Gervais. The couple lived in Duluth, Minnesota until moving to Iowa in 1969. Glenn worked as an architectural draftsman with Hansen Lind Meyer Company for many years.

Glenn a beloved husband and father enjoyed drawing and drafting even after his retirement. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, pottery and traveling to Europe.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Schultz of Coralville, Iowa, three children, Kristina Pickens of Bettendorf, Iowa, Gretchen Schultz of Carlsbad, California, Timothy Schultz and his wife Susan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; four grandchildren, Jacob, Alexandra and Carter Pickens and Elizabeth Schultz. He is also survived by his cousin, Molly Paulsgrove of Aledo, Illinois.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents.
