Vos, Lucille Joan Vande Voort – 1940-2024

Lucille Joan Vos was born Oct. 3, 1940, to Everett and Harriet  (Dieleman) Vande Voort, in Newton. Lucille passed away July 16, 2024, at The Cottages in Pella. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Woodland Cemetery, Lynnville.
Lucy attended Jasper County Schools and Sully Christian School and graduated from Lynnville-Sully High School. She worked in retail sales for Target for 10 years.
June 26, 1959, Lucy was united in marriage to Ronald James Vos, and to this union, five sons were born: Michael, Murray, James, Joel, and Justin.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings Louise Vande Voort, Christine Steenhoek, Ronald Vande Voort,  and Larry Vande Voort.
Lucy is survived by her sons: Michael (Amy) Vos, Murray (Virginia) Vos, James (Jennifer) Vos, Joel (Kay) Vos, and Justin Vos; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her twin sister Lois Harthoorn.
