Edna Roberta Godfrey, 89, of Newton died of a heart ailment Thursday at Skiff Medical Center there. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home, with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Godfrey was born in Marshalltown and lived in Newton 45 years. She was a former restaurant employee and a homemaker.
Her husband, Fay, survives.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 1 to 2 p.m.
