The daughter of Cornelius and Kathryn Fraken Breuklander was born in Pella.
She married Chester Zickel on January 16, 1937 in Des Moines and to Howard Vaughn April 29, 1972 in Oskaloosa.
She was a former Sully area resident until moving to Newton in 1957.
Mrs. Vaughn was a member of the Marshalltown Moose Lodge.
The Rev. Robert Stewart, pastor of the First Assembly of God will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Rose Ann) Byers of Grinnell, three grandchildren; two brothers, Marion Breuklander of Des Moines and Ed Breuklander of Knoxville; and three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Doris) Snyder and Mrs. Ethel Schakel, both of Pella, and Mrs. Monford (Nellie) Burkhart of Harvey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister in infancy, and her first and second husbands, Chester Zickel and Howard Vaughn.
