Runnells News – Opal Marie Ware, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Rhoda Anderson, was born in Camp township, Nov. 4, 1903, and passed away Sunday morning, June 18, 1949, at the age of 45 years, seven months, and 15 days.
September 24, 1924, she was united in marriage with Ora Ware and to this union two children were born Cora Marie, age 13 and Roberta Ora, age eight, who is better known as Bobby.
She spent her entire life on a farm in Polk and Jasper counties until 1945 when they moved to Runnells because of her ill health as she had suffered through two strokes and the third one causing her death.
She accepted Christ as her personal Saviour at the Camp Center church and was baptized into Christ July 4, 1937.
Her mother, one sister, Pauline Shera and two infant brothers preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two children, her father, C. H. Anderson, three sisters, Gladys Irons of Ivy, Muriel Hampton and Maude Snetselaar of Monroe and two brothers, Doyle Anderson of Des Moines and Virgil Anderson of Prairie City and a host of other relatives and friends.
