Funeral services for Rodney Alan Castor were held in the Sutherland Methodist church Nov. 28, with the Rev. Warren A. Binz officiating. Interment was in the Union Chapel cemetery near Ira.
Rodney Alan, son of Russell Earl and Lorena Eileen Goeller Castor was born Dec. 15, 1951, in Oelwein. He died in Rochester, Minn., Nov. 26 of acute leukemia.
A student of the second grade at Sutherland, he had lived at Fairbank with his parents for three years.
Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Hadley J., Dale R., and Danny Z.; four sisters, Lynn, Karen, Susan and Jennifer all of Sutherland; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Goeller of Fairbank, and Mrs. S. V. Castor of Tacoma, Wash.
