Death of Father
Henry I. Allfree, 88, father of Jas. Allfree of this city died early Tuesday morning at the Skiff hospital in Newton following a ten-day period of hospitalization. Death was caused by a heart condition.
Survivors include the son James of Colfax, three daughters, Mrs. Vera Lundberg and Mrs. Minnie Wyatt of Newton and Mrs. Edith Lundberg of Alcester, S.D. Twenty-three grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren also mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o’clock Thursday afternoon at Newton, Iowa with burial in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.
