Christopher W. “Chris” Miller, 47, of Newton died on Monday, April 20, 2015. The family will greet friends from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, April 25, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Following the visitation, a celebration of Chris’ life will be held at the American Legion in Newton. Memorials in Chris’ name may be left at the funeral home.

Chris, the son of Tom V. and Betsy (Kendall) Miller, was born on April 8, 1968 in Newton. He was a graduate of Newton High School in 1986. Chris had been a laborer for Allied Construction since 2013. He was a member of the Laborer's Local 177 Union. Chris enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family.

Those left to celebrate Chris’ life are his parents, Tom and Betsy Miller of Apache Junction, Arizona; brother, Tim (Cindy) Miller of Newton; his sister, Pam Miller of Newton; nephews, Tony (Tammy) Miller of Marion and Trevor Miller of West Allis, Wisconsin; great nephews and niece, Weston, Vauhn, and Dalen Kay Miller; and his many close friends.
