Arlin G. Dodd, 59, died February 3rd at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services were February 6th at Collins United Methodist Church and burial was at Evergreen Cemetery

Mr. Dodd was born in Collins and lived in Valeria before moving to Des Moines 30 years ago. He retired as a tire builder for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., was a veteran of the Army and had been a member of the United Rubber Workers Union.

Among survivors are his wife, Helen; a daughter, Tami Jones of Lansing, Mich.; a son, Terry of Jacksonville, Fla; a brother, Max of Collins; and a grandchild.
