Those left to honor Linda’s memory are her husband of 50+ years, Ronald of Lynnville; children, Jeffrey A. (and Vanda) Williams of Ottumwa, Janet L. (and Tim) Carrigan of Urbandale and Julie R. (and David) Glick of Des Moines; her eight grandchildren, Annabelle, Abigail and Bradley Carrigan, Heidi J. Williams, Shanda and Justyne Wilhite and Jennifer and Christopher Glick; four great-grandchildren, Revan Rushman, Dominic and Dilana Sears and LexiMae Rogers; and her brothers, Robert E. (and Judy) Cass of Newton and David (and Kathy) Cass of Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda was a graduate of Newton High School in 1961. She also was a graduate of the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Des Moines.

Linda was a homemaker and she had been a nurse at Skiff Medical Center, Mercy Medical Center, for Dr. L. H. Koelling, at the New Sharon Care Center and at the Mayflower Home in Grinnell.

Linda was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton and she was a Past President of the Lynnville Sully PTA. Linda held a great love and devotion for her family; she especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family. Linda loved to read a good book, she collected bells, snowmen, Santas and she enjoyed outdoor flowers.

Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Comfort House in Pella may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home please add, Attn: Williams Family on the envelope. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 26 Apr 2015.
