Charles Strovers Dies at Age 58, Once of Kellogg

KELLOGG (SPECIAL) - Charles Strovers, 58, former resident of the Kellogg area, died Saturday at his home in Stanley, Wis., following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock in Stanley. Mr. Strovers was in the implement business there and farmed when he lived near Kellogg.

Survivors include his widow, the former Bertha Nibblink of Sully; two daughters and one son, his mother, Mr. Lucretia Strovers of Indianola; five brothers, John and Milton of Newton, Frank and Clarence of Grinnell and Harry of Indianola, and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Buttrey of Booneville. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, August 5, 1951
