Irma A. Wheeler Coulter, 97, a longtime Colfax resident and a Prairie City native, died Tuesday, March 24, 1992 at the Newton Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26 at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the Howard Street Christian Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.
Memorials to the Howard Street Christian Church are being accepted.
Survivors are a son, John A. Weirick of Colfax; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Dr. Harry A. Weirick in 1934, her second husband, Walter Coulter in 1957, three sisters, and a brother and sister in infancy.
She was a homemaker.
The daughter of Elbert A. and Clara Belle Redding Wheeler, she was born June 10, 1894 in Prairie City.
She was married to Dr. Harry A. Weirick in 1924 and Walter Coulter in 1940.
