Gladys Graham, 95, a longtime Prairie City resident, died Monday, November 30, 1992 at Clearview Manor.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, at the Prairie City United Methodist Church. The Rev. Reg Merrill, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City handled arrangements.
Memorials to the United Methodist Church and to the Clearview Manor Guild are being accepted.
Survivors are a son, William, of Indianola; three daughters, Winifred (Mrs. LeRoy) Wilson of Prairie City, Bessie (Mrs. Charles) Kilborn of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Lillian (Mrs. Dwight) Johnston of Prairie City; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dave Rhodes of Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Edward, a sister and two brothers.
Mrs. Graham was a member of the Prairie City United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
The daughter of Dave and Mae Hawthorne Rhodes, she was born March 7, 18987 in Canora, Saskatchewan, Canada, and in 1917 moved to a farm in the Prairie City area.
She was married to Charles Edward Graham June 14, 1913 in Canada.
