Alys M. Hadsall, 62, a resident of the Colfax-Prairie City area since 1986, died Tuesday, December 31, 1991 at Des Moines General Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 3 at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Cremation was held. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax handled arrangements.
Memorials to a fund in her name are being accepted.
Survivors are her husband, Charles; three sons, Robert Eike Jr. and Don Eike, both of Des Moines, and Bill Eike of Prairie City; five stepchildren: Terri Gilbert and Gene Hadsall, both of Prairie City, Craig Hadsall of Newton, Crystal Wing of Dayton and Corey Hadsall of Altoona; six grandchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her mother, Elizabeth Stowell of Des Moines, and a step-sister, Patty Aycock of Altoona.
Mrs. Hadsall was a clerk at Enron Liquid Pipeline Co. in Des Moines prior to her retirement.
She was born May 18, 1929 in Des Moines.
She was married to Charles Hadsall February 11, 1986 in Colfax.
Mrs. Hadsall had lived in Des Moines before her move to the Colfax-Prairie City area.
