Opal M. Knouse, 73, of 8555 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, Virginia, a former Prairie City resident, died Tuesday, March 17, 1992 in a hospital in the Norfolk area.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday march 20 at the Tidewater Drive Chapel of Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home in Norfolk.
Memorials to the Diabetes Foundation are being accepted.
Survivors are her husband, Melford; two daughters, Elizabeth Adams of Norfolk, Virginia, and Barbara Adams of Chesapeake, Virginia; three grandchildren; and a sister, LaVeta Erskine of Nettles Island, Florida.
Mrs. Knouse was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
