William “Ferd” Krueger, 92, died Friday evening, August 21, 1992 at Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Masonic graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 25 in Canfield Cemetery near Ivy.
Survivors are a son, Dan, of Pensacola, Florida; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena; a son, Jerry, and a grandson.
The son of Paul and Nellie Griffith Krueger, he was born July 17, 1900 in Wellman and graduated from East Des Moines High School in Des Moines. He attended Iowa State University in Ames and was a member of Theta Xi fraternity.
Mr. Krueger was married to Lena Packer on November 31, 1992, in Des Moines.
He was a retired feed salesman, a World War I Navy veteran and a member of the King David Masonic Lodge at Altoona, the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine in Des Moines and the Des Moines Consistory.
Memorials to the Canfield Cemetery Association may be left at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.
