Norman D. Klein, 37, of Reasnor died Wednesday, August 19, 1992, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 22, at the First Baptist Church in Newton. Burial was in St. Andrew’s Cemetery near Sully.
Survivors include his wife, Gelene, a teacher at the PCM High School; a son, Garrison and a daughter, Hannah Klein, both at home; his parents, Earl and Lola Klein of Newton, two sisters, Beverly Peckous of Charlotte, North Carolina and Donna Klein of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his grandparents, Enid Klein of Newton and Henrietta Jansen of Pella.
Mr. Klein was born in Oskaloosa and lived most of his life in Jasper County. He was a farmer and a member of the Sully Co-op board of directors and the Jasper County Farm Bureau. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newton.
Memorial contributions are being accepted to his church or the Church of God in Lynnville.
