Henrietta Magdaline Sheehy, 80, died Monday, August 17, 1992, at Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 19 at St. Patrick Catholic church in Perry. Burial was in Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.
Survivors include one son, Craig Sheehy and his wife Lucina, of Newton, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Arceline Lemna, her husband, Virgil, and three brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Sheehy was born April 16, 1912 in Verona, North Dakota. She attended a rural Catholic school at Lisbon, North Dakota and later moved to Des Moines where she kept house for Bishop Langley.
She was married to Virgil Raymond Sheehy on March 4, 1935 in Jamaica, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Jamaica area until 1957 when they moved to rural Bouton. Mr. Sheehy died in 1967.
Mrs. Sheehy was employed at the Woodward State Hospital. She retired to an apartment in Perry in 1983 and entered Clearview Manor in 1990.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society may be left at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
