D. Kent Warner, 98, of Des Moines, a former Prairie City resident, died of a respiratory ailment Monday, May 11, 1992 at Veterans Medical Center in Des Moines.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15 in Glendale Cemetery.
Among survivors are a daughter, Rosella Warner, and a son, don, both of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Warner was a retired salesman. He was a Navy veteran of World War I, and was a member of First Christian Church in Des Moines and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was born in Prairie City, and lived in Des Moines most of his life.
