Thomas H. Erwin, 87, of Newton died on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at the Hospice of jasper County’s Monarch Wing in Newton.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at theWallace Family Funeral
The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. They will also greet friends following the service with a lunch at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Hospice of Jasper County or to the American Heart Association. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Irene of Newton; daughter, Kathy (John) Sievers of Marshalltown; son, Dale (Marsha) Erwin of Melbourne; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter, two brothers; and a sister.
