Died – On Thursday, April 1st, to the surprise of almost everyone, it was announced that Jacob Scott had died. He has been in poor health for some time, and for the last few weeks he has been running down rapidly with consumption, but no one expected him to die so soon. He died fully conscious that his hour had come, and was resigned to the inevitable.
