Died – Miss Rebecca Brown, at the residence of her mother, in Newton, Iowa, April 13th, 1886. She was born May 13th, 1844. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. Austin Boatman. The life of Miss Brown was a quiet and peaceful one at home with her mother all her days, and after a continued sickness for some months, she quietly and trustfully passed away. Her remains were laid in the beautiful College Farm Cemetery to rest till the morning of the resurrection. Her aged mother and her brothers and sisters have the warm sympathies of all know them.
