Glen Blanford of Waterloo, former resident of Colfax, died in Des Moines Monday, December 22. Funeral services are pending.

Former Resident Died Dec. 22

Glenn Blanford, 74, of Waterloo, a former Colfax resident, passed away Monday, December 22 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, after 36 days in a coma.

Services were held Saturday, December 27th at the Sunnyside Tabernacle in Waterloo.

Survivors are two sons, Buddy and terry both of Waterloo, five grandchildren; tow sister, Mary Ellen Robson of Dike, Iowa and Gretchen Cole of Colfax; one brother Royal Blanford of Ames.

The son of Charles and Carrie Blanford, he was born in Colfax, September 15, 1912. Glen was a member of the call of 1931 at Colfax High School ~ The Jasper County Tribune, January 1, 1987
